Mami Taibang Movies
Video-on-demand mobile application focused on Manipuri movies and entertainment
A closer lookat what we built
Mami Taibang Movies was developed as a dedicated mobile video-on-demand experience for Manipuri entertainment. The application was designed around making regional movies, Shumang Lila, documentaries and other entertainment programs accessible through a mobile-first platform. The supplied portfolio metric highlights 50K+ Play Store downloads and 529+ downloads on Softonic. Public app-tracking sources provide additional evidence of significant historical adoption and describe features such as HD content, multiple categories, watchlists, simultaneous viewing on other devices, regular content updates and offline downloads.

A mobile-first VOD platform for Manipuri cinema with watchlists, offline downloads and 50K+ historical downloads.
From challenge toproduction outcome

The Challenge
The product needed to make a regional content library easy to browse, discover and watch on mobile devices. Video applications also need to handle content organization, playback quality, user access and a reliable experience across different network conditions.
Keycapabilities
Manipuri movies and regional entertainment catalog
Video-on-demand playback
Content categories and discovery
Watchlist management
Offline download and viewing
Multiple quality options
Regular content updates
Cross-device viewing support
Mobile-first entertainment experience
The stack andarchitecture we chose
The project involved mobile application development around a VOD content model, with backend/content-management capabilities supporting catalog organization, access and playback. The exact internal technology stack was not supplied, so this case study intentionally avoids inventing framework or infrastructure details.

Real-worldmarket validation
Public sources describe Mami Taibang Movies as a VOD service for Manipuri movies, Shumang Lila, documentaries and other entertainment programs. Public tracking data reports 50,000+ Google Play downloads and, separately, an estimated historical total above 70K. The app was later removed from Google Play, so the portfolio should present download figures as historical adoption rather than current availability.
