Aurora Travel is a cross-platform travel application built to support travelers before and during a trip. The product combines itinerary planning with maps, local discovery, safety information, chat, translation, budgeting and local offers. The supplied project background describes the application as having crossed 25K+ downloads. Public Android data currently shows the application as Aurora Travel by Briata Group and describes interactive maps, location-aware alerts, travel news, AI-assisted itinerary suggestions, offline maps, currency conversion, budget tracking, translation, local deals, community chat and safety information.

The Challenge
Travelers normally move between several apps for maps, itineraries, currency conversion, translations, local recommendations and safety updates. The challenge was to bring these experiences into one mobile journey while keeping the application useful when connectivity is limited.

The stack andarchitecture we chose
Flutter was used for the mobile client, FastAPI for backend APIs and PostgreSQL for persistent data. The architecture supports map/location services, user-generated travel data, itinerary workflows and external information sources while keeping the mobile experience responsive.

Public Google Play information describes Aurora Travel as a travel companion with interactive maps, real-time warnings, travel news and related travel utilities.
